If your parish allows it, you can ask your phone or computer to remember you. Next time you request a Mass with the same email address, you won’t need to click a link in an email.
Turn it on
- Request a Mass and click the link in your email.
- On the Confirm your request page, tick Remember me on this phone or computer.
- Tap Confirm my request.
You won’t see the tick box if your parish has switched this off.
Don’t tick this on a shared computer.
What happens next time
On the request form you’ll see “You’re remembered on this device as” and part of your email address, like j•••@g•••.com. If you then use that same email address, your request is sent to the parish office straight away.
If you type a different email address, we email you a link as usual.
Forget this device
Tap Not you? Forget this device on the request form. You’ll need the email check again.
What is kept
We keep a random code on your device. On our side we keep a scrambled copy of the code and of your email address, not the address itself. Your parish decides how long it lasts. It stops working after that, or when it’s forgotten, and is deleted about 30 days later.
If someone else may have used your device, tell the parish office. They can forget every device linked to your email address.
