If your service times are already written down somewhere, Pewbook can read them and fill in the list for you to check. Admins can do this. Go to Service times and look for Already have your service times written down? at the top.
Send your times
Choose one of:
- Web page: paste the address of the page on your website that lists your
times. It must start
https://. - File: upload your newsletter as a PDF (up to 10 pages), or a photo of the noticeboard (JPG, PNG or WebP). Files can be up to 5 MB.
- Type or paste: type the times, or paste them from an email or a document.
Then tap Read my service times. It takes about 10 seconds.
Check them
You’ll see a list of services, grouped by church:
- A church you’ve already added is marked already added. Only its new services are shown, so nothing is added twice.
- A church Pewbook doesn’t know yet is shown as New church: and its name. It’s added along with its services.
- Each service has a tick box. Untick any you don’t want.
- You can change the Day, Time, Name and Length (minutes) of any service.
If anything was unclear, a note above the list says so. Check those services against your newsletter.
Nothing is saved until you tap Add (for example Add 7 services). Tap Start again to throw the list away.
If Pewbook couldn’t find any service times, try pasting just the part with the times. You can always add services by hand with the form further down the page.
Five free imports
Each parish has 5 free imports, to help you get set up. The box shows how many you have left. An import only counts if it worked. When you’ve used all 5, you can still add and change service times by hand.
What you send
Only send service times. If your newsletter lists Mass intentions or people’s names, paste just the times instead of uploading the whole newsletter. What you send is read by our AI provider and isn’t kept by Pewbook.
