Admins can do this. A standing intention is one the parish sets itself, like “People of the Parish” or “Holy Souls”. It has no offering and no requester. It takes a place at the Mass and appears in the newsletter and the register.
- Go to Mass intentions and find Standing intentions.
- Type the Intention.
- Under Which Masses? choose:
- Every week at a regular service: pick the Service, then a From date. Until is optional. Leave it blank to cover as far ahead as people can book.
- One Mass: choose the Mass.
- Tap Add standing intention.
You’ll see how many Masses it was added to. Masses that were already full are skipped, and the message lists their dates.
Good to know
- A standing intention uses up a place at the Mass, just like a requested one.
- In the register it is marked Standing intention instead of an offering.
