How do I use the getting-started list?

Who can do this: Admins.

Admins see a Getting started list at the top of the Calendar page. Work down it, one step at a time. Other staff don’t see it.

Each step has a short note and a button, such as Add a church →. Choose the button to go to the right page. A finished step shows a tick, and the list says how many are done (“2 of 4 done”).

The first list has these steps:

  1. Add your church
  2. Add your service times
  3. Invite someone to help
  4. Look at your parish page. It opens in a new tab.

If your parish uses Mass intentions, you also get Getting started with Mass intentions:

  1. Check how intentions work at your parish. Save the settings once, even if they look right.
  2. Add the office contact parishioners will see
  3. Request a Mass yourself, to see what parishioners see. Use your own email address. The request waits under Mass intentions, where you can decline it.
  4. Look at the Mass register

When every step is done, the list says All done, well done! once. Then it goes away.

Hide a list, or bring it back

Choose Hide this list to remove it from the Calendar. To get it back, go to Settings. Under Getting started, choose Show the getting-started list again. A list you finished doesn’t come back.

Hiding a list only affects you. Other admins still see their own.
