Make your parish newsletter in minutes

For parish secretaries and volunteers who put together the weekly sheet. Pewbook builds the newsletter from your service times and the notices you’ve already typed, so each week you only add what’s new, then print it, copy it or put it online.

How it works

  1. Put your service times in once

Add each church’s weekly services, or let Pewbook read them from your website, a newsletter or a photo of the noticeboard for you to check.

  2. Choose the week

Open Newsletter and pick the week. The services table is already built from your calendar, with cancelled services marked and extra ones on their day.

  3. Add what’s new

Check the notices, add any new ones, and type the week’s letter or the collection totals if you print them. The preview updates as you go.

  4. Print it, copy it or publish it

Print it on A4 or as a folded A5 booklet, copy the text into an email or a message, or publish it to keep a copy of the week as it went out.

What you get

  • Notices you type once

Each notice runs for this week only, 4 weeks, until a date or until further notice, then drops off by itself.

  • Styles to start from

Classic, Compact, Booklet, Modern or Traditional, then change the fonts, headings, colour and spacing one at a time.

  • Your logo and QR codes

Put the parish logo on the masthead, and print links as QR codes people can scan, such as a page to give online.

  • Prayer lists

Keep lists of the sick, the recently died and anniversaries. Each name records who agreed to it, and comes off and is deleted on its own.

  • The sections you want, in your order

Switch on a letter, music, collections, regular services, dates for your diary, groups and giving, and put them in the order you like.

  • Online, if you want it

Published newsletters can go on your parish page, so people can read them on their phone.

What it costs

The newsletter is part of Pewbook’s free core, with your churches, service times and parish page. See prices.

Questions

Do I have to retype the service times every week?

No. The services table comes from your calendar. Cancel a service on one date, or add an extra one, and the newsletter shows it.

Can I print it?

Yes, on A4, or as an A5 booklet you fold. Or tap Copy text and paste it into Word, an email or a message.

Is it only for Catholic parishes?

No. The newsletter works for any church. Features for one tradition are switched on only where a parish wants them.

Who can make it?

Clergy and admins can make each week’s newsletter. Admins set the layout and the look, which stay the same every week.

Is our data safe?

Prayer list names are printed in the newsletter only, never put on your parish page, and Pewbook deletes each one on its own after it comes off. Your records are kept in a database in the UK or EU.
