Put your service times online
For any church office: put the service times for each of your churches on one page, keep them up to date in a minute, and share it with a link, a QR code poster in the porch or a button on your website. Parishioners don’t need an app or an account.
Get your parish startedHow it works
Add your churches
Add each church, with its postcode, so your page can show people the way.
Add your weekly services
Type them in, or paste your website’s address, upload your newsletter or a photo of the noticeboard, and check what Pewbook reads before it’s added.
Share your page
Copy its address into an email or your newsletter, print the QR code poster for the porch, or add a button to your parish website.
Keep it up to date in a minute
Cancel a service on one date, or add an extra one, without changing the usual times. Your page and newsletter follow.
What you get
One page for every church
Each of your churches and the next two weeks of services, on one page. With more than one church, each service says which church it’s at.
Directions to the door
Add a postcode and drag the pin to the right door. Your page shows a Directions link under each church’s address.
Groups and activities too
Put the toddler group, confessions or a course on the page and in the newsletter, with who to contact.
A calendar for the office
See every service by month, week or day, for one church or all of them, and print a day.
A poster, a QR code and a button
Download the QR code, print an A4 poster, or copy a button for your website. None of them track anyone.
The newsletter, from the same times
The weekly newsletter’s services table is built from your calendar, so you never type the times twice.
What it costs
Your churches, service times and parish page are part of Pewbook’s free core. See prices.
Questions
Do people need an app or an account?
No. Your page is an ordinary web page. Anyone can open it on a phone or computer.
Do I have to type all our times in?
No. If they’re already written down, Pewbook can read them from your website, a PDF newsletter, a photo or text you paste. You check the list, untick anything wrong, and nothing is added until you say so. Each parish has free imports to help it set up, and you can always add services by hand.
We have several churches. Does that work?
Yes. Each church has its own service times. Your page shows them together, and the office calendar shows all your churches or one at a time.
What if a service is cancelled?
Cancel it on that one date, with a note if you like. It stays on the calendar marked as cancelled, and the usual times don’t change.
Does our page track visitors?
No. Your page has no tracking or analytics. It doesn’t show a map itself, so nothing is sent to a map service until someone taps Directions. The QR code is made on the page, and the website button doesn’t load anything from Pewbook.
